Our Recruitment Process

You can have the best program in the world, but if the teacher who

delivers it is not qualified, you will not get the expected results…

Our commitment to our students, therefore, does not only involve providing them with a high-quality study program but also offering them a truly enriching learning experience.

That’s why we have implemented a rigorous process to select the best teachers for our school.

The courses are super beneficial el hamdulilah! Despite the language barrier, the teacher takes all the time to correct each sentence and each word. She is very caring, smiling and never annoyed. I was enrolled in another distance learning institute before al Kunuz, where the teacher (also Egyptian) had spoken badly to me about SubHanallah, the school did nothing despite the screenshots of the messages, so I changed to go to you. It was the best decision I ever made and I don’t regret el hamdulilah! I am really happy in the courses and I have made a lot of progress in just 2 months!

A demanding process

It is not enough to be an Arabic speaker to be able to teach Arabic.
It is also not enough to have a degree to be able to teach Arabic or the Quran.

We have set the bar very high in our selection process.
And in order to guarantee the highest level of expertise and competence, all our potential teachers must go through a series of evaluation, training, and continuous development phases.

The steps in our recruitment process

Phase 1
Interview

The pedagogical manager interviews the teacher to find out about his/her background, experiences and motivation … as well as other criteria that we consider important to be part of our team.

Phase 2
Knowledge test

We test the teacher’s written and oral knowledge.

If this test is passed, he/her will be able to move on to the third step.

Unfortunately many fail at this stage.

Phase 3
Practice test

We put the teacher in a practical situation with a fictitious student in order to test his/her knowledge in real time.

Some candidates get help with the knowledge test. This practical test will highlight this and they will not proceed to the fourth step.

Phase 4
Practical training

For 1 to 3 months, the teacher teaches student testers. These students provide us a detailed report after each class. We follow the teacher closely to train him/her in our pedagogy…

Be an Arabic speaker/graduate does not mean being able to transmit.

Phase 5
Recrutement

After successfully completing all of these steps, the teacher becomes a member of our team. His/her free slots are showed on our website and he/she will soon be able to welcome his/her regular students.

Phase 6
Continual training

In-house training is provided to all teachers (grammar, makharij, pedagogy, balagha etc.).

Knowledge sharing is also in place via our private platform. Teachers are constantly reviewing and improving their skills
