Learning Arabic and Quran Online for Kids

Arabic and Quran courses for children are taught by experienced teachers with Ijaza (authorization to teach).

In addition, they are specially trained to teach children and thus adapt to the particularities and learning needs of each child.

To Learn Arabic For Kids and Learn The Quran For Kids, you will choose the teacher (male or female. The sessions are not mixed, except for those under 12 years old) as well as the schedule that will suit your daily life.

Depending on availability, we offer your child the opportunity to take advantage of our Arabic courses for kids and Learn the Quran for kids up to 6 times per week.

However, to preserve your child’s “desire to learn” and well-being, we recommend a moderate rhythm between 1 to 3 times per week.

Indeed, a reasonable program will avoid any overload and will allow them to continue over time and thus achieve their goals.

For busy children, a rhythm of once a week will be more suitable.

Classes are taken as a monthly – half-yearly or yearly subscription.

During the course, the teacher takes small playful breaks with the child to cultivate his interest in Learning the Arabic language and the Quran by having him play little games (in Arabic) created by the pedagogical team.

Learning Arabic For Kids and Learning The Quran For Kids has become simple with Al Kunuz.

To learn Arabic for children we offer several programs :

  • A Complete program that includes the 4 essential skills to acquire the Arabic language.
  • The Minatu-Rahmane method (to learn to read and write)
  • The “Arabic Ă  la Carte” program: which will allow your child to consolidate his shortcomings in a particular area (example: oral expression)

To learn the Quran for children we offer different programs :

  • The “Qaaida An Nouraniya” method (World renowned method, to learn to read)
  • The Complete “Al Shaamil for Kids” program: This program will allow your child to study the 4 essential areas to master the recitation of the Quran
  • The “Quran Tailor-Made for Kids” program: This allows your child to focus on one or two necessary areas for the recitation of the Quran (Memorization and/or recitation and/or review etc..)

The teacher moves at your child’s pace. The time required to complete a program therefore depends on his assimilation pace.

Who can join the Special Children's Program ?

Access to the special Children’s program courses is open continuously. The start of classes is immediate.

However, to join us, you must meet the following conditions :

  • Be ready to seriously commit to the immersion method (100% Arabic courses): This is THE essential method to master literary Arabic in speech and understanding.
  • Be ready to take charge of your child’s success (attendance, homework, revision, etc.): Of course, we are not looking for the perfect student, but to make the most of your investment (time and money), it is crucial to put the necessary means in place.
  • Understand that Quran courses are conducted in literary Arabic Although the aim of the courses is not to learn the Arabic language, studying the sciences of the Quran in Arabic can only be beneficial.
  • Be ready to follow our pedagogy dedicated to children, which includes, among other things: Not helping the child during the course (except for technical problems), understand that the child can be “lost” during the first courses while he adapts to the immersion method and that this is part of the process.

I studied the Arabic language throughout my childhood until my early teens in a mosque school. I thought I was at a very good level and was quite confident. I even taught my husband to read. But by starting the program 100% in Arabic, I found myself at the lowest level! Classes take place exclusively in literary Arabic. We are convinced of the benefits of immersion and have developed our controlled immersion method.

Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have shown that “immersion learning creates brain connections similar to those of native speakers. However, it is essential that the audio material be authentic, that is, from people whose mother tongue is native.” (Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience — M.I.T).

To effectively learn the Arabic language, it is therefore crucial to immerse yourself in this language in the company of a native speaker.

The training takes place entirely online, live with a native teacher via Zoom.

You choose your schedule yourself when registering.

Depending on the program selected, the support will be different (it will be sent to you by email after the 1st class).

Classes start as soon as you register. The start date of the courses is specified in the confirmation email (and on the registration page).

Arabic and Koran courses are booked in the form of a monthly, semi-annual or annual subscription. No commitment.

You therefore buy a subscription of one (or more) classes per week for 1 month, 6 months or 1 year renewable depending on the package chosen.

For example for the Quran:

For 1 course per week, 5 lessons/month = 25 euros/month

For 2 courses per week, you have to double the subscription amount by once a week so: 25 euros x 2

For 3 courses per week, you have to triple the subscription price by once a week, so: 25 euros x 3
etc…

A degressive rate is applied for semi-annual and annual subscriptions:

➡ Semester subscription (every 25 weeks) = 22.5 euros/month for 1 session per week, 25 sessions/semester
(payable every 25 weeks 112.5 euros)

➡ Annual subscription (every 12 months) = 20 euros/month for 50 sessions/year
(payable annually 200 euros)

Likewise, for 2 sessions per week, you have to double the price. For 3 sessions per week you have to triple the price, etc.

We offer a discounted rate for a semi-annual or annual commitment (see the price section).

Our program “L’Arabe Ă  la carte” is designed for children who need to improve a specific area of their learning, such as grammar, spelling, text study, and more.

It is also suitable for children who are already attending a school that teaches the Arabic language and who just need to practice speaking or who have had unbalanced learning and need to fill their gaps.

The “Arabic à la Carte” program also allows your child to study a complete program at their own pace.

đź“Ś Regarding the Quran:

Our Full program “Al Shaamil for Kids” is designed for children who need to study the four key areas to become an experienced reciter of the Holy Quran:

✔️ Tilawa → Recitation
✔️ Mouraja3a → Review
✔️ Ahkam → Tajweed Rules (depending on the student’s level and comprehension)

The “The Customized Quran” program is designed for children who need to study 1 or two areas (Memorization and/or Recitation and/or Revision and/or Ahkam), or who want to study a program like “an-Nouraniyah” or “Toufhatul Attfal”

📌 Regarding Arabic:

No prerequisites are required. You can register your child even if they don’t know the letters of the alphabet and don’t know any vocabulary… Our levels start as soon as you learn to read and are perfectly suited to learning Arabic for beginners.

📌 With regard to the Quran:

Your child should know how to read the Arabic language (even basic). If he cannot read, choose the program “The Customized Quran” to study the program “an-Nouraniyah”

đź“Ś Regarding Arabic:

After registering, your child will by default be enrolled in full program, you can then modify the program independently in your member area to choose a particular subject (such as speaking, for example).

You also have the option of contacting us to ask us to do so. During the first class, the teacher will also be able to suggest another program that is more suited to your child’s level/need.

📌 With regard to the Quran:

At the time of registration you can choose between the Full Program or the “an-Nouraniyah” method.

After registration, you will be able to modify the program independently in your member area to choose a particular subject (such as revision, for example)

Quran and Arabic programs adapt to your child’s pace.

The time it takes to finalize a program will depend solely on how fast it progresses with the support of our professors.

Your child’s level will be determined by the teacher during the first class.

These are private lessons

Subscriptions are automatically renewed.

However, you are free to cancel the renewal before the next period.

When you choose a monthly subscription, you can cancel your subscription before it renews the following month.

When you choose a semi-annual subscription, you can cancel your subscription before it renews in the next semester.

When you choose an annual subscription, you can cancel your subscription before it renews next year.

You are therefore free not to renew your subscription and to cancel it independently in your member area.

On the other hand, a subscription that has begun is no longer cancellable or refundable.

In order for your child’s class to be caught up, you must inform us of his absence (via your student area) up to 2 hours before class.

You are entitled to one absence per month and per schedule (example: if you study 1 time per week, you are entitled to 1 absence per month). If your child studies 2 times a week, you are entitled to 2 absences per month. And so on.)

Other absences will not be reported.

So be sure to choose a schedule that suits your child before registering.

No, one session is not enough to get an idea of the effectiveness of a course, especially for an immersive method and especially for courses for children.

You can commit to one month only and decide whether you want to continue later or not (you can cancel your monthly subscription before automatic renewal)

Payment is made by credit card (managed by our payment partner Stripe). Payment is secure.

A stable internet connection, a computer, a headset, a microphone and a keyboard in Arabic.

Regarding the Arabic keyboard, you can instead buy Arabic letter stickers to stick on your keyboard (for sale online).

Our classes are compatible with all media: Windows, Mac as well as tablets and smartphones, however for more comfort we recommend that you study on a computer (to have a keyboard at your disposal).
